A night of bullfighting in the heart of August

The lineup
José María Manzanares
An established figure with over 20 years in the elite. From Alicante, elegant and profound, he has triumphed in all the major festivals in Spain: San Isidro, Feria de Abril, Las Ventas. In 2011, he performed the first bull pardon (indulto) at La Maestranza in Seville in over four decades. In 2026, he starts strong in Olivenza, Castellón, and Seville.
Morante de la Puebla
The most unique bullfighter on the circuit. In 2025, he opened the Great Gate (Puerta Grande) of Las Ventas twice, and in the spring of 2026, he delivered a performance at La Maestranza that the press described as historic. Seeing him perform on an August night in Marbella is an experience hard to forget.
Aarón Palacio
The great promise of modern bullfighting. This young man from Zaragoza took his alternative in September 2025 in Nimes, with Manzanares as his godfather, cutting three ears. In 2026, he has already triumphed in Seville, Castellón, and Logroño. On August 7, he shares the ring with his godfather for the first time since that afternoon.
